I asked PC Doctor to carry out an overdue maintenance service on my PC which was already performing poorly before Norton made the situation worse when they found and corrected a potential problem during which they seriously interfered with my ability to access and use my own applications.
I rang PC Doctor late in the afternoon and asked for a specific engineer to come and sort everything out. The receptionist traced the engineer and arranged for him to come at 9:30 the next day. He arrived promptly and within 3 hours he had completed a full performance review and eliminated the intrusions from Norton, so that I could return to my normal processing. During his visit the engineer answered a lot of questions and made sensible suggestions about transferring to Windows 10, including addresses and phone numbers of local providers of preparity training for Windows 10.
The cost of this visit was a pleasant surprise at £70. It was previuosly £100.
