What is included in the ‘Standard collection & delivery’ service charged at £29.99 plus vat?

• Collection of your laptop from your home or office with our overnight courier 

• FREE liability transit cover of up to £500 per item

• Telephone consultation regarding repair options/costs (see typical costs below)

• Return of your laptop within 5–7 working days (excluding courier collection and delivery)

Can I choose a faster service?

Yes, go for our ‘Priority collection & delivery Service’ with only a small increase in cost of £49.99 plus VAT . Including all of the above but with the repair time reduced to just 2-3 working days (this excludes collection and delivery courier time). In the event of component order delays (beyond our control) your fee will automatically revert to the 'Standard' charge as above.

What type of repairs can you offer?

Any! Hard-drive replacements,Touchpad Mice, Optical drives, Keyboards, Ram upgrades, Data retrieval, Power socket repairs, All software problems, Screens, Backlights, Broken hinges/plastic casings.

How much am I likely to pay for the overall repairs?

Laptops are very different to PC's and there are hundreds of components for each type of make. There are some typical repairs that we can list here for you but otherwise we will have to let you know as soon as our free diagnostic service has taken place. Costs shown below are subject to VAT and are in addition to the Collection & Delivery service charges shown above:

• LCD Screen repair £60 (plus component) 

• CD/DVD Rom Replacement £35 (plus component)

• System/Motherboard £80 (plus component)

• Keyboard replacement £35 (plus component)

• Inverter Replacement £30 (plus component)

• Data recovery POA

How can I send my laptop to you?

You may either send it to us using your own methods or we can send our courier to you, either way you must pack your Laptop very securely in a box, wrapped with bubble wrap or similar, making sure that any void is completely filled and the box won’t ‘crush’. Your liability cover is dependent on you packing correctly, if in doubt call us.

What if I don’t have a box?

Don’t worry, we can provide you with a purpose made box for £10 plus VAT (£11.50, non refundable) this will include the delivery of the box to you by our courier but it will take an extra day and you must be there to pack your laptop into the box when the courier arrives or you will have to pay this fee again!

Can I bring it to you?

What if it's not economically viable to repair my Laptop or I choose not to go ahead?

If your laptop is fairly old, you may choose not to go ahead with a repair, you will be only charged the ‘Standard’ or ‘Priority’ service charges above, plus a small handling fee of £20 plus vat and we will return it to you. The handling fee can be removed if you purchase a new laptop from us, which will come with the benefit of our current FREE delivery and installation offer (up to 1 hour, time charges apply thereafter). Don't forget your data! We can save it and return it to you by disk or using a storage device, once we know how much data you have, we can price you for this service.

What do I do now?

Now you have understand whats involved, call us on 0800 018 5535 where you can make a booking with us. We will email a short customer questionnaire which will include a few questions regarding packaging, condition of the laptop etc. Once received by us, we will arrange a courier to collect your laptop.
